Lexmark Z2420

Friday, May 16th, 2008

With so many other inexpensive photo inkjets on the market today, we can’t recommend the Lexmark z2420–it’s prone to paper jams, prints at a snail’s pace, and produces unacceptable quality prints.

Samsung ML-2851ND

Monday, May 12th, 2008

Small businesses should take a serious look at the Samsung ML-2851ND’s monolaser because of its excellent print speed, text print quality, autoduplexer, and networking features. It’s a little more expensive than the competition, but its chart-topping test results speak for themselves.

While it’s more of a luxury accessory than a must-have accessory, the Nyko Kama Wireless Nunchuk does a good job of eliminating that final cable from your Wii’s controller.

Kodak ESP 3

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

The Kodak ESP 3 comes with great software for editing photos and applying touch-ups to portraits, but printer software is only as good as the physical results, and the print quality isn’t nearly up to current industry standards. Your $150 would be much better spent on alternative multifunction printers.

Imagine G2219W1

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

The 22-inch Envision G2219w1 performed well in movie playback, games, and normal office use. Its color reproduction leaves something to be desired, however, and while it is aggressively priced, we’d recommend shelling out a bit more for a 22-inch LCD from Dell.
