How does the program for the Lexmark® C912™ work?
The Free Printer Program is structured as an equipment lease. Your 36 month lease payment of $675 per month will provide the following:
- Lexmark C912 Wide Format Printer – No Charge ($3499 Value)
- Onsite service for 36 months – No charge ($1799 Value)
- Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow Toner – Shipped every 60 days
- Oil Roller- Shipped every 60 days
- Black and Color (C,Y,M) Photo Conductor – Shipped every 120 days
When you are approved in the program you will receive two agreements. The first agreement will cover the on-site service and shipment of ink & supplies. The second agreement will cover the lease payment of $675.00. The two agreements work together to provide you the printer, the service and the ink supplies.
You will not pay any additional shipping charges on the printer or your monthly shipment of ink. You will only pay for the value of the ink & supplies over the 36 month agreement.
How
do I get started?

Why
is there a $49 application fee?
This is a small one time fee. You will not be charged until your application is approved and the agreement is executed. Submitting an application is risk free. Each application is processed and reviewed for credit worthiness and payment history. When you are approved in the free printer program, this one time fee will be billed with your first months ink shipment. This fee is paid to the leasing company to handle the process of setting up the lease documents as well as the initial cost of the credit review process.
How
long do I participate in the program?
The program term is only 36 months . Upon the successful completion of the agreement the printer is yours to keep without further obligation. You may continue to purchase supplies at a discount or you can upgrade to the latest printer technology offered in the Free Printer Program and continue to be covered by the on-site service and support. As long as you have the need to purchase supplies you should be using the latest in technology! Why not, it's FREE!
Who
is eligible to participate in the Free Printer program?
The Free Printer color printer program is available to businesses in the United States with two or more employees, who have acceptable credit as determined through the application process. Applicants will be notified of their status via e-mail approximately 72 hours after the application is submitted.
What
does the program include?
The Free printer program includes a Lexmark® C912™ Color Laser printer, genuine Lexmark toner and supplies shipped every other month, and 3 years of on-site service. The toner and supplies include the following
- Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow Toner rated at 14,000 pages at 5% coverage – Shipped every other month. (60 days)
- Oil Roller – Shipped every other month (60 days)
- Black, and Color Photo Conductor (cyan, magenta & yellow) - Shipped every other shipment (120 days)
Can
I return the printer?
We will make every effort to assist you in making the best decision for your business including providing print samples of your documents and discussing your printer needs and application. We have placed thousands of free printers in the channel and most of our new business comes from referrals. In most cases the printer far exceeds the expectations of our clients. However, because we structure the program as an equipment lease the printer cannot be returned.
Is there
a 30 day trial available?
Because the program is structured as an equipment lease we do not have the ability to provide a 30 day trial period. We will make every effort to assist you in making the best decision for your business including providing print samples of your documents and discussing your printer needs and application. We have placed thousands of free printers in the channel and most of our new business comes from referrals. In most cases the printer far exceeds the expectations of our clients.
Will
I receive a new printer once I am approved?
Yes, You
will receive a brand new printer. We do not provide any used
equipment.
What
happens at the end of the program?
You can keep the printer at no additional costs if all monthly payments and all other amounts owed under the Free Printers Free Printer Agreement have been fully paid. We recommend that you upgrade to the latest in printer technology and continue to receive the support, service and discounted supplies.
What
happens after my credit approval?
You'll be e-mailed the documents for your signature. Please sign and return these documents via FAX or overnight mail. Once we receive these back we will ship your new Lexmark® C912™ Color Laser printer via UPS or FedEx ground. Typical shipments take 3-4 business days.
Can
I obtain more than one printer under the program?
Of course
you can, as long as you are credit approved. You can select
up to four printers using the application. See the application

What
is needed to qualify for the Free Printer program?
While there is not a fixed set of criteria for approval in the Free Printer program, the following information can be used as a guideline. Since the Free Printer program is structured as an equipment lease, an in depth review of the business credit history is required.
As a general guide line, businesses established for at least two years with good credit scores can qualify for the Free Printer program. In some instances we will require the owner’s personal social security number. When you submit your application please be sure to include your business Tax ID (EIN) and your banking information.
For most businesses we require a minimum Credit Bureau Rating of not less than 600 with no prior bankruptcy in the last seven years. Minimum time in business is six months and in most cases we require two years or more.
If you are a Real Estate professional you will need to fax a copy of your Real Estate License to 509-757-8726. We will need to verify a minimum time in business of two years and a credit bureau rating of not less than 620.
If your organization is classified as a non-profit, we require a minimum time in business of 5 years. We will also require a faxed copy of the articles of incorporation faxed to 509-757-8726.

How
many color pages can I expect from my monthly supply of
toner and supplies?
Your ink usage will vary depending on the type of document being printed and page coverage (Density). Each set of toner is rated at 14,000 pages at 5% coverage (Based on 8.5 X 11 paper size) . The typical business document is usually around 20-25% coverage. Based on 20-25% coverage you can expect approximately 3,500 – 7,000 color prints from each set of toner. Toner shipments are provided every other month so you monthly usage should be approximately 2,000 – 3,500 per month. This is only provided as a realistic guide and your actual experience may be more or less than this estimate. 11 X 17 documents are twice as large as 11 X 17 and therefore would use approximately twice the toner.
Can
the Lexmark® C912™ color printer print 11 X 17?
Yes, the printer can handle a wide variety of media handling including Envelope, Letter (8.5 X 11), Ledger (11 X 17) and Super tabloid (12 X 18) for full bleed 11 X 17 color prints. Please download the product specifications for detailed media handling information.
What
type of Paper / Media will the Lexmark® C912™ color printer handle?
The Lexmark® C912™ Color Laser printer will handle a wide variety of media. Including card Stock, envelopes, glossy Paper, paper Labels, plain paper, transparencies and banner paper.
If you have a special media you want tested we can assist you in printing sample output on your media so you can see the final quality.
We recommend a high quality 28 lb. laser paper with a brightness of 96+. This will give you great results.
Will
the Lexmark® C912™ color printer print edge to edge?
Yes, the C912™ does have the ability to print a full bleed 11 X 17 edge to edge color print. To accomplish this you must use 12 X 18 media and trim it to 11 X 17. This is the typical method in which you would normally get 11 X 17 edge to edge prints on most wide format color laser printers.
How
do I get my toner and supplies?
Every other month you will be automatically shipped a set of toner that includes black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. Every other shipment you will also receive black and color photoconductor units for your printer. These will be shipped via ups ground at no additional shipping charge to you. Shipments are made every 60 days from the date your equipment lease commences.
Are
there other supplies I must use for the printer that aren't
included?
The program does not include paper, transparencies or fuser and belt assemblies. The Fuser and belt will not need to be replaced until after 100,000 prints. Your new printer will initially come with a set of toner good for 8,000 color prints at 5% coverage. You next shipment will be shipped 60 days after the lease commences. Additional toner and supplies can be purchased in out on-line store. Free Printer clients receive a 10% savings on genuine Lexmark® toner.
What
happens if I run out of ink during the month?

Yes, in the Lexmark C912 program we only use genuine Lexmark Toner and supplies. This helps ensure that your printer can provide years of hassle free performance.

do non-profits receive an additional discount on ink?
If your
organization is based in the U.S. and has non-profit 501(c)
status, as approved and authorized by the Internal Revenue
Service (IRS), you can receive an additional 5% discount
on your C912™ printer supplies.
